Dear Future Husband,
I really wish you could write back to my letters, but I know someday, you’ll do me one better by answering me in person. I think about you a lot – where you are and what you’re going through.
Sometimes I think it’s good that I don’t know what you’re up to right now. What if you’re dating another girl? Or…ugh…have a man bun. 🤦🏼♀️ Please, honey, say no to man buns. If you’re going through that phase, fine, but please get it out of your system before I meet you, please and thank you.
Seriously though, wherever or whoever you are, I’m praying for you. In your time of doubt, I pray that the Lord reveals Himself to you.
When you’re weak, I ask that He gives you His strength.
When the time comes, and people question your faith, I pray that He fills you with boldness and wisdom.
You, just like me, are going to be wrong sometimes, and when you are, I hope God slaps you in the face with this realization, slamming the door that’s going to lead down a path of destruction.
Most importantly, I pray that He lights an unquenchable fire in your soul for Him, our Lord and Savior, that even the bitterest of trials can’t put this fire out.
I don’t know who you are. Maybe you were at Harding with me a few weeks ago, or possibly you’re in West Virginia. No matter your location, I am so looking forward to doing life with you one day.
Oh, and if none of your other relationships are working out, blame it on me. I may or may not be praying that God puts you on hold until I get to you…🤫
Love you lots,
– You Future Wife
